Hyponex by Scotts Brown Mulch, for Landscapes and Gardens, 1.5 cu. ft.

Hyponex Scott's Brown Mulch stands out from the usual orange colored mulch everyone else uses. In my neighborhood, everyone's planter areas in the front of the houses are covered in that orange colored mulch. I wanted to look a little different than every other house, so this brown really works! It's been in the planter beds now for over 1 week and it is holding it's color here in the hot Florida sun. We have frequent downpours and sometimes the mulch floats out of the beds onto the front porch. What a mess. But, so far this mulch isn't floating away! Much less sweeping of the front porch! Upon opening the bag, the mulch wasn't all moist and sticking together in clumps, but pretty dry and easy to spread. It's made from forest residue and scrap wood, if that matters to you. I didn't notice any big chunks of wood in my mix. It has been holding back the weeds, so less back breaking work to do in the yard, pulling weeds. The scent wasn't too strong either, which is a plus. The pieces are coarse, not shredded to finely, so they hold up and don't disintegrate. Overall a great mulch!

Love this rubber mulch by Scott’s. Looks just like wood mulch but so much better. Very easy to lay down and a little goes a long way. Looks awesome in all of our beds along the house and around the trees. Highly recommend.
