These stockings are the best solution I have found. Considering how much these things cost regularly, The price couldn't be better. I rotate through 31 pairs and replace a third of them every 4 to 5 months. That means that each pair actually gets worn about 18 to 20 times but I don't replace them for almost 2 years.

My husband recently had cardiac surgery and was told to wear TED hose except during the night, he was in the hospital and then in skilled nursing and the hose they used were extremely tight, I was very concerned about the safety to him. He had a graft site on his leg and it became infected and was too compressed for him to be comfortable. I spoke with staff members at both places and they said, "These are a size XL. I did not CARE what size they said they were, they were too tight. When he came home, I ordered these and they fit perfectly and came up much higher on his legs. The ones he had were tight AND short.
