TuffRider Ladies Plus Rider Dress Boots

I got these for a great sale price but they have some major problems. First, the leather is very low quality and smells like chemicals. Second, the measurements given for the calf height are about 3 inches taller that they really are. I am short (5'2”) and these look a little funny on me coming about 2-3 inches shy of the back of my knee. Next, the ankle is pretty baggy and I would not say I have slim ankles. So, after one ride, it's obvious these boots are going to drop quite a lot. Very bummed. It is so hard to find off the rack boots that will fit my 17.5 inch calves. I got these mainly for schooling, but if they drop too much they won't be comfortable even for that due to too much bunching at the ankle. Might have to stick with half chaps or save my pennies for custom.
