First thing you should is that the chair is shipped as a flat-pack. The legs must be screwed in (tip: use the bag to hold the protective cover and catch the paint that flakes off; another tip: don't forget the plastic disk that fits between the legs and the chair bottom; third tip: round legs go in the front). The wings must be attached to the back (the slides come attached to the wings and must be separated, I found a tap from a light hammer to be helpful; the freed piece gets screwed into the side of the chair back [arrow points down] %26 the wing then slides into place). The final step is to slide the back into place (tip: search for the holes before trying to insert it). Working solo, slowly, and carefully, it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble (I am not as young as I used to be). The end product is very attractive and comfortable.
