Key item features

  • Artisan Craftsmanship: This runner rug is hand-woven in India, showcasing a flat-weave construction from the Montauk Collection, known for its casual designer styling.
  • Material Composition: Made from 100% pure, soft cotton, the rug features a low pile height of 0.25 inches, contributing to its clarity of color and classic Ikat tie-dye effects.
  • Design Aesthetics: The Montauk Cara rug presents a geometric pattern in taupe and ivory, designed to complement various decor styles from contemporary to country.
  • Care & Maintenance: Recommended care includes regular vacuuming and spot cleaning; professional cleaning is advised for stubborn stains. Rotating the rug every 3-6 months helps prevent uneven wear.
  • Usage Recommendations: A rug pad (sold separately) is recommended to prevent shifting. It's also advised to use rug protectors under heavy furniture and avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
  • Packaging & Appearance: Temporary creases from packing are normal and will gradually recede; back-rolling can expedite this process. Slight variations in color, length, width, and pattern may occur.

Beware of taupe color option

This seems to be a pretty decent rug but I ordered it in the taupe/cream color and it is not taupe at all. The color is almost gold. Returning.

reply from Supplier Response

Hello, Thank you for your review. Please be advised color is subjective. Please be aware there may be a dye lot variance. Rugs from different production timeline will look slightly different when compared next to each other. Due to differences in monitor size & screen resolution, rugs may appear slightly different in your browser than they do in person.
