SAFAVIEH Monaco Driskoll Abstract Area Rug, Grey/Fuchsia, 6'7" x 9'2"

This rug is really beautiful and fun, perfect with wood-accent pieces and especially in a room with many neutral tones + a few bright accents. The design is very unique and interestingly combines a bright fuchsia with light blues and yellows, allowing for a lot of possibilities in terms of color play. My wife has a couple pale yellow and light blue farmhouse style furniture pieces that would look great with it. Though the pink is bright, it could be downplayed and help brighten a space that is otherwise more muted. Most of the rugs my wife and I own are Safavieh brand because they are the best quality you can get for that price tag and are also the most unique looking rugs you can get for that price tag. I often compare them style-wise with the contemporary-abstract brand of funky appeal you get from West Elm rugs for a fraction of the cost. This rug is low pile, not wool or hand-woven but still manages to look high quality. Note: this review was submitted as part of a contest.
