We are so pleased with this type of antenna. We have 3 of these. The range is wonderful. We get more than 100 channels. With rain or winds that doesn't effect it. We get great picture. The best part is that we don't have any kind of bill. In other words no cost just to watch tv.

I'm one of those non-joiners who avoid social media and streaming services, so broadcast TV is fine enough for me. I always pictured these antennas as being too huge for apartment use, so I was amazed at how compact this one is. It replaced a previous basic passive model mounted under the AC unit on the balcony. This one is short enough to actually sit on TOP of the AC and it fits under the roof's overhang perfectly. I found a short stand to mount it on (like for a microphone). A long cable from an old satellite dish was still out there that goes thru the wall. I connected that to the antenna then continued from the RF wall jack inside. They do give you a 25' cable if needed. The best thing this has is a signal amplifier that boasts a 36db gain. Since I live halfway between Milwaukee and Madison I am 40 miles away from either. It is no problem to point it west to receive the latter's channels. An added plus is that the antenna can be rotated if you have the clearance to do it. A button on the inside amplifier box does that, but it only goes one direction (counter clockwise). That isn't very practical if it's mounted on a tall inaccessible pole since at some point the cable will be spiraled around it. They should design it so each push of the button reverses the direction to fine-tune the aiming. My just stays stationary so no problem. So this product was the total answer to my needs and I am very satisfied with the ability to watch all my boring over-the-air channels using it!
