This product has been a game changer with glass top cooking ranges. I started using it when my daughter moved into her apartment and inherited what looked like permanent rings on her heated areas. I used a health glob that I spread all over the range top and went at it with the enclosed blade scraper for a total 20 minutes. It was scary at first, because I was concerned the razor would permanently scratch the glass top, but it never did. The only drawback is that the blade slides back into its recess quite easily, so you'll have to keep your thumb on the slide to prevent it from doing so. Don't hesitate to chip away at any accumulated gunk and wipe away, in between scraping, with a wet paper towel or use the included washcloth. The end result is worth the elbow grease you put into it. Looks like it's brand new when you're done.
