This unit uses two AAA batteries and includes an auto-off function designed to save battery life. Special test lead input icons integrated into the display prompt the user to ensure correct lead placement for a desired test. Capable of testing AC/DC voltage and current this meter also measures amps, resistance and continuity (audible), and performs diode and battery testing (1.5V, 9V). Data hold feature captures reading on the display and holds thru multiple tests. Housing is impact resistant.
