It was exactly what I needed in my wifi-free zen room. The lamp outlets and plugs were behind a bulky piece of furniture and the lamp has a fragile on/off switch. After attaching this device, I leave the lamp in the on position and put the button on the floor near my reading couch. when Im done, I simply lightly press the button with my foot (no bending or reaching necessary for those with injuries like me) and turn off everything that was attached. Nap time! lol
