First of all, Im a real user of this product. I have an old Siamese cat who needs to be fed every 6 hours and who yowls when hungry. This c500 feeder has allowed me to sleep in, go to work, and it has calmed him immensely. Ive had it for almost a year and never once has it been unreliable. Hes never been able to open the lid either. Ive found it very easy to use with just a little practice, and wet food stays fresh in it for a long time, especially if you refrigerate the later feedings. Its worth every penny and the few minutes it takes to learn how to use it properly. Tips: buy extra blue ice for it, always check that the lid is on tight before you leave, and always check that AM and PM are correct, so your cat doesnt miss a feeding.

I have one already before purchasing this one. Love the wide opening to reduce whiskers stress. Also love the freezer pack so that I can put wet food in if I am not going to be home for next meal.
