I'll be honest...we have 3 cats that all each belong to my teens and they can be forget with things like filling up the dishes, sometimes it's lack of communication from them cuz they'll think one or the other fed them...this was just an easy solution to avoid the cuddly little fatties from angrily meowing from time to time. They automatically get fed and no one has to worry about it! Even better, if we are gone an entire day, they still get fed without issue. Probably going to buy another to set up for when we go out of town for a few days so that there is 2.

Great cat feeder for cats that can't share.
My cats can't share so this works great for them. My one fat cat will start stuffing his face as soon as the food dropped on my old automatic cat feeder, and my other cat would wait and watch, only eating after the big guy was finished. She wasn't getting her equal share of food and my fat cat was getting fatter. This solved that issue! The food drops at the same time on both sides so that can eat separately but together. Great for fat cats who refuse to share!

It's been 2 weeks as of this review and they have taken so well after the third feeding on the second day. letting me record a message for them helped. I thought it was going to be bigger for some reason but the compact size is perfect for small apartments. makes the food last longer. the portions are small, it goes from 1-36 portions for each feeding. up to 6 feedings. so do adjust the amount and the time spaces apart depending on how your pet is.
