The best trash can ever!

I absolutely love this trash can! You don't have to touch the trash or the trash can after you let it leave your hand until you take the trash bag out of the can to place it in the dumpster. It was easy to set up and understand how to use. It was delivered on time and it was reasonably priced.

Works best when hardwired.

I had a cheaper version of this from Scamazon and it died exactly a year later. This one was $60 and it takes 3 C batteries instead of 2 D batteries like the old ones. It arrived without box, just a Ninestars sticker which was odd. It takes 13 gallon walmart bags just fine. What i did was i hard wired it to a 5V 1A basic USB charger (I had a spare RING wall charger) and it works great and fast! 3 C batteries are 4.5V so 5V won't kill it. At least you won't have to worry about slow lid openings and the famous "why doesn't it open!!!"

nice but expensive

nice trash can but don't understand why trash cans are so expensive I mean you put trash in it. I do like this trash can very much so but really why does trash cans cost so much? not just this one but all trash cans. If you don't mind spending $65 I would definitely recommend as this is about as cheap as they come for this style.
