I love the quietness of the lid when it closes. My old one used to slam shut instead of closing gently. I'm not crazy about the fact that it looks like a brown/bronze color. I ordered black and the look doesn't seem to be black to me. Overall, I do love my trashcan.

Very attractive. I didn't realize how much I would love the fact that the “back” of the can is flat so it is easy to flatten cereal boxes, pizza boxes, etc. and slide into the trash bag without tearing a hole in it. The lid is strong and opens gently and smoothly without flinging up or down. I would definitely buy this again.

The can itself is "attractive" but if you are an older person, it is very difficult to lift out the inside to either remove the trash bag or to install it. It has to be lifted up either way. Also the can is very heavy and cannot be moved around easily. I would not purchase it again.
