We repurposed our former locking trash can for recycling, because it too big for the space available. We have a dog and needed a new locking trash can, and this one holds the same volume, but it is so much easier to get the kitchen trash bags in and on the holder grooves! Love that there was an option other than just black. Oh, and the way the bags attach around the lid hinge leaves an opening so the bag doesn't get suctioned to the inside of the bin.
