Costway EP23048 10000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and Dehumidifier Function in White with Window Kit Remote

After reading some reviews I was concerned I may have a negative experience but it's been awesome! First off there is a sticker on the unit that says “wait three hours” and just to make sure I called (got great customer service quickly) it's from the time delivered. Second, It was very simple to attach the pieces and they have stayed put! The instructions do say the insert for the window width may need to be trimmed and I just used some garden clippers came right off! My daughter's room is the upstairs of an old home we rent and there is not any central air and this thing dropped the heat from 85 to 69 the first night! I don't plug it in until the evening but it works fast. I have not had to empty any water yet but the hose that comes with it will make it easy to empty if needed. Only negative was a bird kept trying to come into the vent hose so I had to add a piece of mesh which was very easy I just slid it between the vent and window extension piece. So far it's been life saver!!
