I see reviews complaining that it didn't last long but it could be bcuz some people don't let it sit for 24 hours before using it and only have themselves to blame if they didn't let the REFRIGERANT SETTLE after shipping. Also some people don't realize that IT MAKES ICE but complain that it melts when it's NOT for STORING ice. Loving the top pull out water reservoir, the size of the pellets, the ice container, the ease of the bottom pull out drain plug, the light, and how quiet it is. It's a little on the expensive side but I am very satisfied, so far.
