I was afraid this table would be flimsy but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The table is very sturdy. The wood is thick and has a beautiful finish. The pictures dont show how nice and sturdy this table looks. I was looking for a coffee table that was not too pricey, but that looked good and transformed into a higher mini dining table. And here it is. Modern, convenient, looks perfect and has lots of room for the storage. Definitely will look better with the baskets in the lower compartment.
