Took very little time to put together, instructions very easy to read and follow. lift could be a little sturdier coming out. but you get what you pay for. it's located in my rec room where it conceals games and blankets. it won't be used a heck of a lot nor do I have any young kids or adults who act like young kids in the home. so It will last as long as I will have use for it.
