Hi! I'm Rebecca. This is the first icemaker I have ever purchased. I specifically wanted a nugget icemaker. This one fortunately was on sale more than half price off. I bought this as a present for myself for my 80th birthday. I put ice and everything I drink and this had easy directions and is very simple to use. I find it works faster if you use cold water from the refrigerator. The ice keeps my drinks very cold and the nuggets do not melt super fast and the ice is fun to chew when I'm in the mood to do that. The machine weighs about 20 pounds. It's about half the size of my toaster oven. It fits nicely on my kitchen counter and it's a beautiful machine. I highly recommend the Philergo nugget icemaker for anyone who's in the market for one.

I love it! Compact in size,so fits easily on counter. Great size of ice itself if you like softer type. Machine itself does not cause any bad taste. If using for large group of people, you will have to make ice and empty in storage bags to save in freezer ahead of time.
