A Kitchen Knife Sharp,Reliable and Easy To Use

The 8-inch Japanese Chopping Chefs Knife is one of exceptional sharpness. Unlike Western Knives these are constructed from a harder steel, very light weight with a thinner blade which allows them to glide through fruits, veggies, herbs and meats with little to no effort. They do warrant special care when using as well as cleaning. They should never be placed in a dishwasher and sharpened only with whetstone. I love the feel of it in hand, it's easy use and how it allows for quick and precise chopping. At last a tool worth purchasing. Handle with care.

Sharp and Durable

This chef's knife seems to me to be made with good craftsmanship. I don't know if it's dishwasher safe, but I let it soak a long time in a sink full of hot soapy water, and it held up fine. It comes pretty sharp in my opinion. It easily cut through paper, cardboard, loaves of bread and chicken. In my hand, this knife feels comfortably balanced and easy to hold on to, making it easy to cut safely.
