We already owned a carpet shampooer. We needed something specifically for furniture. We had in the past, owned a big combination carpet/furniture shampooer. Big clumsy and too many parts to dig out if you just needed something for a small spill or upholstered chair. This is perfect, the size is small and can be stored anywhere or put back into the Box for storage. Five minutes setup and you're ready for that spill on the carpet or arms on a soft chair. I would highly recommend this. The spray application is easy and the vacuum suction is more than sufficient.

I used it first on the upholstered seats of my kitchen and dining room chairs. It did a good job. Naturally, there's still work in the process because you have to exert pressure and be repetitive to get out as much moisture as possible. I did twelve chair seats and was worn out! But the machine certainly made the difference. I had no trouble putting it together and was careful to clean the necessary parts before I tucked it away for the next project. I do wish the cord was a little longer though. That would help tremendously. The cord storage gizmo needs to be more substantial in my opinion. I can't keep it in the hook and gave up trying.
