this sale laptop hp victus 15 is the best laptop deal of 2024. was going to give it a 4 star for the loud dual fans, but the sale price and it came with a surprise xbox 30 day ultimate gamepass kept it at a 5. nice packaging, nice matte silver color with matching power brick. the power brick does scratch easily. select start fresh when prompted when powering on the laptop the first time. the set up process will be easier. don't forget to turn off defragmentation. its a ssd. this has the latest tech. boots up fast, 15 seconds or less if you have no start up apps. if you have a 5 or more start up apps, for me it took 34 seconds to boot up. to update the Nvidia driver. click on the green Nvidia app/program and update it from there, alot easier than manually finding the update. screen looks good not as bright as I would like. the speakers are good to me. everything about this laptop is good to me for the price.
