Great deal if you can get it on sale.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my Mother. She is getting a little older and has MS so she needed a light laptop she can move around. This one definitely fits the bill on the weight. She was so happy with how thin and light it is. I helped her set it up yesterday. It definitely took a while. She couldn't remember some of her passwords, such as for her Microsoft account, but even if she had it would take at least an hour. It updates windows right off the bat. Then it had an HP BIOS update. After that I updated all the drivers, removed MacAfee, disabled some things that are in the startup list. Installed the version of Office I had bought for her, turned off all the tracking things. The list goes on with an HP. She has always loved HP so I keep getting them for her when they get too old to update the OS anymore. All in all, it boots up relatively quickly, is snappy to open apps and can handle multiple tabs without breaking a sweat. Don't expect to play games on it but for general Office use and browsing it seems great.
