The fact that this wraps around neck and shoulders is the reason why I bought this heating pad. And it's really helped me a lot already. It's easy to wear when I'm sitting at my desk. I was attempting to use a standard heating pad before I bought this Maxkare pad, and I had to use clothespins to hold it in place: and it was only helpful for doing one small area at a time. This covers everything that aches: back, neck, shoulders all get some heat therapy at the same time, which is awesome. I was surprised that it's so plushy: I've never had a heating pad that's so SOFT. And, I think it's weighted on the ends which helps hold it in place.
