With beef prices above this great-grams budget, it was a rare treat and the shopper chose a beautiful roast! Meat was tender, flavorful with just the right amount of fat. Was able to stretch meals to (8) by cutting the chuck in 1/2 to make a yummy pot roast with tatas, carrots, onion; then a small crock of beef stew with leftovers plus corn, green beans, and tomatoes. Used the other half of the chuck to make ground beef using my food processor in under 5 minutes. From ground made a small meatloaf and burgers. * Best way to ensure your ground is coming from one cow rather than multiple sources.*

Italian beef sandwich from this roast was amazing

Great beef roast! It was fresh, had a nice amount of marbling, and cooked up very tender and flavorful. I slow-cooked it with potatoes, carrots, and onions, and it turned out delicious. The meat was juicy and pulled apart easily with a fork. For the quality and price, I was very pleased with this roast and will definitely purchase it again.

This was a good cut of meat.

I know what people are saying....don't buy meat from Walmart. I do because I haven't had a bad cut of meat yet. The roast was cooked all day in a crockpot with Mccormick seasoning. No bone, no extra weight. Yes it was expensive, but what isn't? At the end of the day, it tasted great. Cheaper than going to a restaurant.
