I have two main quibbles with this device. First, it was intended to replace an older gadget that was in my house for years but finally lost its grip. However, the new device contains more plastic than my trusty old gadget, so I worry about how long it will last. Second, it took more than a month to arrive from China, so if you are in a hurry, do not order this jar opener. Also it was difficult to track where the order was at any given moment.
