Best Machine Yet!
I have owned only Keurig coffee makers since 2010. Not counting the one my husband dropped and broke and the 1 that got taken out by lightning, that's 2 in 15 years. These little machines have longevity as long as you do the recommended maintenance on them. This machine, in particular, replaced my K90 Elite (the one my husband dropped and broke). I must say, this machine BLOWS the K90 out of the water. My first cup of normal hot coffee swept me off my feet, and that's saying a lot! The biggest reason I chose the K90 was the ability to control what temperature my coffee was brewed at. This machine does it all and PERFECTLY without any input from me. My first iced coffee from this machine had my mouth doing happy dances. It was the perfect temperature for iced coffee. Unlike the K90 that brewed the iced coffee hot, this machine brews it, then COOLS it before it reaches your cup COLD!! No more watered-down iced coffee because the HOT coffee melted like 40% of your ice on contact because it was hot going into your cup of ice. With my Stanley cup and the way this Keurig brews my iced coffee, I come home at the end of the day with like 60% of the ice STILL IN MY CUP! The rinse function on this machine is AMAZING, also.This machine automatically runs a short rinse cycle after each cup, but whenever I switch between flavors or brews of coffee or tea and hot or iced, I can run the rinse cycle to clean all of the previous grounds and residue off of the everything in the cup chamber. The ONLY drawback to running the manual cycle is that it uses 12 ounces of water, and you can't change that amount. The size of the machine is definitely on the large side. You need a fair bit of space to fit it, which may be a drawback for someone with limited counter space. It did not fit on top of my K-cup drawer that my K90 used to sit on. Overall, this machine is WAY better and worth the price difference of the K90, in my opinion.
