Keurig K-Duo Essentials, Hot & Iced Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker & Carafe, Black

This version is superior to their mini Keurig. The K-cup side does not leak and I like that there is a decent sized reservoir in the back. The cold brew option is a nice addition. Despite also having a coffee pot carafe, it does not take up a lot of space on the counter. Found it cheapest at Walmart Online (with quick, free delivery) than alternative competitor's "big deal" days.

The Keurig K duo Essentials was a game changer for our family. First of all the size was basically the same as our old original Keurig single serve machine (pictured ), taking up the same amount of space on the counter. The new Kduo sits on the same pod holder drawer, and opens easily under the cabinet. My husband drinks 6 cups of regular black coffee a day, and I prefer flavored coffee and tea. The kids occasionally had hot cocoa and cider. So with our old Keurig, we were going through a mountain of pods. The K duo solved that. Now dad makes a pot of coffee. And I can still have a cup of tea or flavored coffee made with the convenience of a K cup. It was the perfect union, and neither one of us had to sacrifice the ease and convenience of having a nice hot quick premade drink. Now we can buy a container of coffee grounds for dad and not have a huge case of pods taking space and our empty pod waste has been cut by 80% or more. Not to mention the savings. Wow! Huge savings! That savings alone paid for our brand new fancy Keurig within a month. The machine itself has a lot of wonderful features The water reservoir is nice and big and does not have to be filled as often, and when it does need to be filled boom the coffee carafe is right there; or it can be removed and just pop it under the sink. The coffee pot brewer creates the pleasant aroma of fresh made coffee. The pot makes it convenient to fill a thermos and saves soooo much time in the morning not making individual cups. Plus additional features - strong brew button for mornings you need the extra flavor and it makes the perfect iced coffee (it doesn't melt all your ice!) of course you can still change your cup size for tea, or fill your on the go tumblers. The lowest water setting is convenient for making a bowl of instant oatmeal for breakfast or ramen or mac %26 cheese cups for after school. If you're asking, why didn't we have a separate coffee pot and then also a Keurig? in the beginning we did, but we didn't have the counter space for both. And I might add we are still using our original Keurig (pictured) and it's still working great after 17 years. That is why we went with the Keurig brand for our new one, hoping to get the same quality and longevity. Overall the Keurig K duo solved our issues. If you're thinking about it, just do it. I wish I would've sooner.
