I was skeptical but so glad I bought this! Some reviews implied difficult set-up but I had ZERO issues. If you have ever assembled furniture, then you shouldn't have any issues. love my new desk
It's been a few weeks since I assembled this desk, and it's been great. i assembled it myself, which i do NOT consider myself as assembly savvy. They include two instruction manuals. i started with the smaller one and then had to jump over to the larger one. because of that, i missed a step and had to redo a part of it. but that wasn't a big deal. my advice is to not tighten the bolts super tight until the very end in case you do make a mistake and need to redo a step. the instructions also suggest that and will give a percentage on how much to tighten the bolts. You will need an electric screwdriver for one section. i tried to do it manually and did not have the strength. but other than that, if i can assemble it, anyone can! i work from home, and i love standing and then sitting back down. Also, it's a very sturdy desk. So, like others have said, assemble it close to where you plan on putting it. I have two monitors, a laptop and a heavy outlet and the desk is sturdy enough for all of that.
