Very pretty print in these garden gloves. I don't have roses but these protect my arms from twigs, sticks and itchy weeds. These gloves come up to the inside of my elbows or just below my elbow. In other words they do not cover my elbow. This part of the glove is a bit stiff, due to the extra protection from thorns, like roses. The hand and fingers of these gloves are a comfortable cotton duck or canvas fabric. I never put these in my washing machine, instead, I rinse them outside with the garden hose, then hang to drip dry. Thank you

I purchased these because I needed some protection on my forearms when working in my trees. They worked out perfectly. However I found that stickers were still able to penetrate the fabric used to manufacture these work gloves. I also found the fit perfect and loved the style...now I'm stylin while gardenen!
