Better Homes & Gardens 8 Cube Storage Organizer, Light Honey, Open Back Cube Bookcase

I used two of the Better Homes %26 Gardens 8-Cube organizers and three 4-Cube units to build a custom queen bed platform over an existing steel frame. I laid 2x4s across the top to distribute weight evenly, and the result has been incredibly solid — no creaks, no shifting, even with daily use. The cubes provide excellent storage and help keep my space organized. I use them for linens, books, and seasonal items, and everything stays accessible. The rustic gray finish looks clean and modern, and the units themselves were easy to assemble with clear instructions. This setup isn’t standard, but if you’re handy and need a budget-friendly bed base with built-in storage, it’s a great solution. Just make sure to reinforce the top properly and check your frame dimensions. I’ve been sleeping on it comfortably for months, and it’s held up beautifully.

I love this storage cube. First off, I love the color, but most importantly, this thing is sturdy. I have purchased other storage units like this, but this one is made so well and looks terrific. I know this will hold up for many years. Now, my complaint about this unit. It is heavy, but that's okay; it will last. Because of the weight, I couldn't build this by myself. But all in all, I love this unit. And I would purchase it again.
