Key item features

  • Plush Comfort: This hand-tufted shag rug features a thick, densely woven 100% polyester pile, providing exceptional comfort underfoot and enhancing room acoustics by absorbing sound.
  • Stylish Design: The silver 4' x 6' area rug offers an instant decorating makeover, refreshing a room with character and style, and is ideal for balancing modern furnishings with lush texture.
  • Optimal Dimensions: With a pile height of 1.25 inches, this rug provides a substantial and comfortable feel, though actual lengths and widths may vary slightly.
  • Care Recommendations: Regular vacuuming (without beater bars) and spot cleaning are recommended; professional cleaning for tough stains, and rotating the rug every 3-6 months helps prevent uneven wear.
  • Usage Guidelines: A rug pad (sold separately) is recommended to prevent shifting; use rug protectors under heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles, and avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
  • Initial Appearance: Temporary creases from packing and shipping are normal and will gradually recede; back-rolling or reverse rolling can expedite the flattening process.

Super soft, thick

Just picked up the rug. It is amazingly soft, thick and plush. The silver/ivory is a very light, soft gray and off white thick strands. It is a wonderful neutral color, more very light gray looking than beige. It is so soft and comfortable to walk on. It works to vacuum with the beater bars off and the high carpet setting. A bit of a tug to move it over the carpet but totally doable. I would definitely recommend it. My size is an 8X10.
