First, this works perfect on a Mac. It has a USB-C cord and it's plug-and-play, nothing to reformat. It's smaller and lighter than expected which is a bonus for me. I'm using this as a back-up for my Macbook Pro and most of the time I need to store this drive in a drawer without it taking up much room. It's fast, transfers data quickly, and then is ready to eject without delay. It makes the workflow and back-up process quick. I have two other drives from another manufacturer, and will say that this one is just as good.
