This is the third time I have used this dye. It does well to color different fabrics. I used it to dye a bed ruffle, and two purses. I use one bottle for each item and I use my washing machine to get the dye distributed into the fabric. I let the fabric stay in the washer agitating for about 40 minutes. Then after the rinse cycle, I hang the item out to air dry. To get the dye out of the washer, I pour in 1 cup of bleach and let the washer cycle through on longest time.
