These tumblers are very well crafted. The coating seems to be durable. They look sleek and not your average looking tumblers. They come in a set of two with 4 lids. 2 have sliding tops to close the lid or open for the stainless steel straw( also super nice) and 2 have a small opening for a straw. I filled the tumbler with ice and water around 4 pm and and it still had a large amount of ice at 8 am. It keeps it very cold. I usually just use water or fat free milk for drinks but my son uses ice tea as well as mixed drinks and the ice melts very slowly.

BluePeak got this one RIGHT!! I like them so well that I bought two sets of them!!! These cups keep hot things hot and cold things cold, for hours on end! The reason I bought these specific cups is because they can be washed in the dishwasher - most insulated cups can't go through the dishwasher, but these cups can and they aren't adversely affected. It is worth noting that I remove the rubber gaskets from the lids before putting the lids through the dishwasher. I wash the gaskets and the straws by hand. The brush they provide for cleaning the inside of the straws could be on a stronger wire, but they do a fabulous job of cleaning the inside of the straws.
