Bought it for my grandmother after she noticed/liked the 30oz. I bought for myself and from its color to its capacity to its sturdiness to how long it keeps drinks cold, she *loves* hers. A cup of iced tea can last almost a week from how much it holds and remains as cold as the day it was made. The base is even sturdier than it looks and the screw top adds an extra sense of security from spills in the event it gets accidentally knocked over on the table or refrigerator, (fortunately neither has yet to happen) and it naturally comes in handy for a trip in summer and of course, keeping coffee hot at home or on winter trips. The straw options are also nice and she prefers the clear plastic one. Overall, it's a very good all-around/anytime gift that immediately feels like you always had it and should've bought it sooner.

Love this cup. Beats the price of the popular brand version. The only thing I would change is the STRAW OPENING on the lid. Unlike some reviewers (even with poor hand strength) I had no issue turning/opening the lid. (There may have been a design modification.) The cup has a tight seal and comes with 3 straw options (2 metal styles, 1 standard plastic a straw cleaner). I find it to be well insulated, keeping liquids cool all day. However, the STRAW OPENING is slightly large and liquids can spill if it tips over in your tote. 2 plastic tips are provided for use (not black as featured). I suppose these are meant to resolve "part" of the spill issue, but in my opinion, they are impractical for use due to their small size (similar to a plastic cigar tip) with nowhere to hang or attach while drinking. My solution was to purchase a variety set of attachable (40mm) straw covers online -- ones with the ring that slides down the straw with connected cap. While these still don't fit as snuggly as I would like, I feel more confident about spillag. I still take precaution, keeping my cup in an upright position or outside pocket of my tote.
