Disposable cups on the job became very tedious very fast as they're easy to lose, mistake for another's , only hold but so much (regular only holds 24oz, which can go by *fast* during a hot/busy day,) with the number of refills being inconvenient let alone the issue of ice, can be awkward to drink from with dirty hands, tend to warp and wear out at the *worst* possible time (i.e. on a clean floor *just* before going home,) and the obvious ecological issues. This cup neatly avoids all those problems. I love the blue-green color that gives it distinction, capacity means I only need to fill it *once* in the morning on the job to last the whole shift and *maybe* refill for the road before heading out yet doesn't happen often as the original ice can last all day if not two, besides the solid handle, the angled metal straw makes hands-free sips easy, both layers of it add a sense of security with its sturdiness as does its base that it's just as easy to put in my backpack as carry it by hand and the comforting reduction of waste in using it from home to work to home again. Its very much a great all-around cup that quickly feels like you've always had it and the sense that you should've gotten it sooner than you did. Impressive enough that I bought the 40oz. version for my grandmother and she loves hers as well. Very solid gift idea for yourself or others that you can't go wrong with in form and function.
