Really good!! Brow gel is very important for my makeup routine. I specifically use this when parts of my brows look too sparse. I also use it when I bleached my brows a few times, when I needed my brows to have color. Also, when I shortened my brows too much at the ends, I used it to make them look longer. I've used it just to have darker brows for a day! Definitely useful. I'm not someone that uses eyebrows pencils or pens, I much prefer a brush on. It's not too thick, it's well tinted, pretty easy to take off. I wear the taupe color so I imagine the darker colors are really pigmented. No special smell just smells like makeup. NYX is usually worth the price!
