My dog loves this bed. We even put it in vehicle and he has some anxiety when traveling and I can say it does help him some with his shaking and he lies down in it and seems to really like it. He feels like he is being snuggled in it. My puppy is 16lbs so he is a black mouth kerr not real big in size but he has long legs and he does well with the size I bought. If you have a bigger dog go with a larger size. But this is meant to be a comfort bed so it's not supposed to be huge and your dog not feeling like it is cuddling him or her. I really like it.
