It fits in the washer!! After 40 years yrs of of owning dogs, I.ve bought %26 cleaned many!! I couldn't believe the tiny box the bed came in, it was vacuum sealed as shown in the photos! This is so light weight %26 can be easily washed( my dog left her old one for this one!! As you get older, its harder to stuff %26 unstuff the heavy foam/stuffing material. My Pets like the foam, but not the egg crate type when they are old! I put beds like this on top of foam orthopedic beds, they act like a box-spring/matrass set up! All I have to was on the orthopedic bed is the sheet that wraps/covers it when washing the furry plush one!!
