DEWALT Drywall Screw Gun Collated Attachment DCF6202

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether working on a crew or a solo installer, this attachment has quadrupled my drywall installation rate, not to mention the fact that it's a one hand operation freeing up your other hand to hold the drywall up when not using a lift (walls etc.)This attachment also takes 90% of the frustration out of hanging drywall solo. No more taping my fingers to prevent tiny tip shards from drywall screws stuck in the tips of my fingers from grabbing a hand full of screws. I use this on the DCF630B, despite some sites indicating it is not compatible, it works perfectly. It adds some bulk to the gun obviously but the rotating head allows reasonably good access to tight corners, I always carry a regular Phillips screwdriver in my pouch to give the last couple turns by hand if by chance the screw cams out in a tight spot. If you are on the Dewalt platform I highly recommend it For the reviewer who gave it a one star because they were having trouble finding a Robertson (square head) bit, in my experience building houses and installing drywall, Phillips (star) seem to be the most common for drywall and this a drywall gun. The reason being : Reduced Cam-Out: While Phillips heads are not completely cam-out resistant, they offer a good balance between grip and the ABILITY TO RELEASE before over-torquing. This helps in preventing the screw from stripping and damaging the drywall or the screw itself. Ease of Use: The Phillips head design is self-centering, which helps to keep the screw aligned with the driver, making it easier to drive the screws quickly and efficiently. This is particularly important in high-volume applications like drywall installation.

worked flawlessly!
