It's HUGE we used it sideways, we plan on making a cushion for the top and we added feet to the bottom. We are using it as a reading seat for my daughter's classroom. It was so easy to assemble for it together in under an hour with two kids running around me lol.

It was a nice piece until I opened the box.

The bookshelf is nice. but one of the pieces arrived with a hole, the box had a hole as well. Then while putting it together two of the screws hatches broke so now 2 of the shelves aren't sturdy enough to put something heave on it. I would return it but to be honest i have no time to do that.
