I wear a woman's size 8 shoe. Slipper size 8-9 fits with no socks, but too small with socks on. I like them well enough to order a bigger size for when I need to wear socks. The soles are thicker and tougher rubber? Than any other slipper I've ever owned; you could walk outside with them on. Highly functional but not beautiful.

The only thing I don't like is that the part of the slipper that goes around the ankle isn't firm, and so I have to deliberately hold the slipper open in order to insert my foot. Otherwise, they're great. I'd also recommend that if you are "between sizes," order the larger size.
