These slippers arrived today and I could hardly wait to wear them. So comfy and warm. Yes,, you do need to pull up the heel portion to cover the back, if you want to. I usually wear and size seven and a half to eight and these slippers probably fit to a eight and a half size. They are nice and roomy for my wide foot. They were a fair price on sale. Love the color.
