Although the laptop is a littler heavier then I preferred it to be for my daughter, the feature (HD, RAM, full tablet mode) outweigh the weight of the laptop. It is much heavier then my work Lenovo Yoga and her school chromebook, but is perfect for durability while she travels back and forth between college and high school courses.

You’re getting the best of both worlds with this. This works very well as a laptop and can use PC software, which usually has more functionality than apps on a tablet. However, it also functions well in tablet mode and, is very convenient to use in a classroom setting, especially when using a compatible stylus and OneNote for taking notes. I bought this for my daughter to use for her online summer classes and she absolutely loves it.
