A great deal price wise for a standard mac book. Beautiful to look at and easy to use. Charged and ready to set up right out of the box. Great sounding speakers and screen quality is sharp. My older model is still in good condition but is too old (2015) to run all the new OS versions so it was time for an upgrade that didn't break the bank. This macbook is perfect. Everything is so fast and fluid. Worth the money.

Finally a budget friendly MacBook

Apple definitely knocked it out of the park with the MacBook Neo. Their cheapest laptop yet, but despite the price it stills feels premium. Don't let the iPhone chip pull you away, it's still Apple Silicon and it's single core performance is almost up to par with the M4. 8gb of ram is fine for the general consumer of this laptop. I'm a teacher so I only use it for work so the smaller number of RAM doesn't bother me. But it's worth mentioning 8gb of RAM is way different on Mac OS than on Windows, as Mac is more optimized.
