No more scratching furniture.

My one fear in having a cat is that he/she will scratch and ruin my furniture! I trim the nails. I watch and confront the behavior. What will work? I've used stuff you spray and suggestions to cover - no help. THIS WILL! Ever since I set it up, no more ruined furniture! He LOVES this thing! He has explored all layers (loves the bottom one best - he thinks he's hiding in it) Absolutely NO MORE furniture scratches and he scratches this post like crazy! It's very sturdy and never falls down. Now I have absolutely no worries about my cat and I can just enjoy him. THANK YOU!!
