Love poblanos for the low heat and great flavor

I love chile rellenos, because I love the taste and low heat of poblano peppers. If you enjoy the flavor of poblano peppers then give chile rellenos a try. They are a bit tedious to make but well worth it. I find jalapenos too to hot, so I substitute all my recipes with poblanos. When picking these make sure they are firm and have no spots. Try and stay away from the pre packaged bags, because 2 out of 4 were rotten. Buy them loose instead.

I buy these every few weeks and have for quite some time now. They are always fresh, flavorful, and last quite a while in the fridge. I chop and fry them up with onion, other peppers like jalapenos and serrano's, and eggs. I might throw in some kielbasa. I also use them in canned corned beef hash as well to add some more flavor.
