  • Wood is a natural material with variations of color shade, configuration, streaks, and grain structure. Each individual piece of Safavieh furniture has characteristic markings that will differ from photo and showroom samples. Regular attention and maintenance of fine furniture can ensure its beauty for years to come. Always use felt pads under all articles to prevent discoloration or softening of the lacquer. Plastic and rubber bases on items can discolor wood.
  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Never use oiled or treated cloths on lacquered finishes. Some finishes can be wiped with a damp (not wet) cloth, followed at once by rubbing with a dry cloth to remove fingerprints and smudges. For persistent spots, gently clean with a soft cloth and a solution of water and mild soap, make sure to wipe dry. Use adhesive felt pads, coasters and placemats to protect your furniture.

    Does the trick

I bought this for my kids playroom to mainly store their books. The hooks don't currently serve any purpose but I imagine will in the future when they're both in school. It arrived very slightly damaged. But it was the top back of the shelf which isn't visible. One of the hooks was slightly bent as well and I will most likely need to replace the hooks in the future due to the fact that they're easily bent and weak. But I would still purchase this shelf. Great price. I ordered it in green. It's a nice avocado green. Easy to install as well. I'm a mom who likes to do hands on projects in the house but this was super simple. All you need is 2 wall achors rated for the weight of the shelf. It wasn't too heavy either. Lifted it up on the screws myself.
